Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal (West Seattle)

Drive, ride or walk aboard the Fauntleroy ⇄ Vashon ferry


  • Sailing time is approximately 20–25 minutes 
  • Enjoy a peaceful and scenic ride across Puget Sound followed by a short drive to the studio 


Ferry Schedule:  Washington State Ferries – Fauntleroy/Vashon Route

 

*Once you arrive on Vashon, town is a short drive, bike or bus ride from the ferry terminal. 


**During weekends and holidays — especially during the summer season — ferry lines may be longer, so we recommend allowing extra travel time.

King County Metro offers a quick and relaxing fast ferry ride between downtown Seattle and Vashon Island.


  • Depart from Coleman dock--Pier 50 on the Seattle waterfront 
  • Crossing time is approximately 20–25 minutes 
  • Enjoy a scenic trip across Puget Sound without the stress of driving 


King County Metro Routes 118 and 119 provide public transportation service throughout the island, including connections from the ferry terminals to the town center and surrounding areas.
